My producer Lou will send you some details/reminders closer to the date including info like this:

1. We will record video and audio.

2. Please use headphones or earbuds, as well as an external microphone if you have one. You'll sound best if you're in a small, quiet room with carpeting, curtains, or plenty of books. Sit close to the microphone and make sure your hair/jewelry/clothing doesn't come in contact with the mic

3. I usually start the recording immediately to catch any sound bites that might be useful, although I’ll let you know when the interview officially begins.
